Kenneth Green II has been a member of the Allen University Music Department since 2007 and received the 2014 Excellence in Teaching Award from the South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, Inc. He has performed with numerous ensembles throughout the United States, including the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra (IN), Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Long Bay Symphony Orchestra, and the Florence Symphony Orchestra. Professor Green was a participant in the Bach-Handel Festival, Eastern Music Festival, Sewanee Music Festival, and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. He performed for the College Band Directors National Association Conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, Illinois, Western International Band Clinic in Seattle, Washington, and at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the International Trumpet Guild and the Society for Music Theory. His principal teachers include Edmund Cord, Robert Nagel, Susan Rider and Adel Sanchez.
