Spring Open House 2013
Saturday, March 2, 2013
John Hurst Adams Gymnatorium
You are invited to Allen University’s Spring 2013 Open House on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Allen University Gymnatorium.
At this exciting event, our guests will be able to discover what Allen University has to offer as prospective students make one of the most important decisions of a lifetime—selecting a college. Allen University’s motto is “We teach the mind to think, the hands to work, and the heart to love.” Allen University is named after Richard Allen, the remarkable founder of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and is recognized as the first university in South Carolina founded by African Americans for the education of African Americans.
At our Open House, we will provide an opportunity for our honored guests to meet our world class students, faculty, staff and administrators who will share the Allen University vision and experience. Also, our guests will learn more about our academic programs and our co-curricular programs and tour our historic campus which is located in the Waverly Community in downtown Columbia.
We certainly look forward to greeting you on Saturday, March 2, 2013 for a day of excitement. Most importantly, we hope that our prospective students will join our academic ranks and make Allen University the college choice.
