Allen University was the first HBCU founded by African Americans in the 1800’s. With an outstanding staff, a deep commitment to the community and sound financial management underpin its reputation for excellence.
The Division of Marketing and Development promotes the vision and mission of the University. This division strives to develop partnerships with businesses, governmental agencies, community leaders, private donors, as well as Allen University’s extended family, including alumni, faculty, staff, students and parents. The overall goal for Marketing & Development is to strengthen and ensure the University’s academic and economic growth.
The Office of Marketing & Development comprises three areas: the Office of Development & External Affairs, the Office of Communications and Marketing, and the Office of Alumni Affairs. Together, these areas strive to the tradition of excellence by increasing and diversifying the University’s resource and raising the University’s profile.
