UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS The Office of Admissions applies the mission of the university in admitting students. We want to provide every student an opportunity to obtain a baccalaureate degree. In review of applications, Allen University looks at a combination of factors when making admissions decisions.
FIRST-TIME FRESHMAN APPLICANTS First time freshman must meet one of the following requirements to apply to Allen University:

Recommendation documentation is required only for students who fall below a 2.0 GPA. We provide recommendation forms; however, we accept letters, emails, and other written communication that serves as a form of recommendation. The recommendation documentation is to be completed by a teacher, supervisor, pastor, church officer, or high school counselor under whom the student has studied worked or interacted and is able to objectively comment on the student’s qualifications for undergraduate study.
TRANSFER APPLICANTS Transfer applicants must submit:
- A fully completed, signed, and dated Allen University Admission Application
- Official transcripts from previous colleges attended
- Official high school transcript must be submitted if you have earned less than 30 credit hours

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICANTS Allen University welcomes admission inquiries from international students. International students should submit signed and fully completed admission applications at least six months prior to the start of the term in which they wish to enroll.
International students must submit the following for consideration of admission and enrollment:

Allen University Application fully completed, signed, and dated

Verification of graduation from high school or secondary institution

Official High School Transcripts/Certificate in English with translation certified

TOEFL scores TOEFL scores (must be 525 or above)

Declaration of Certification of Finance

A statement from the bank, lending agency or sponsor that stipulates the amount of money on reserve for tuition, fees and living accommodations to matriculate in a four-year undergraduate program in the United States

A transcript evaluation form (with determined G.P.A.) from an accredited transcript evaluation agency in the United States.
All international students are required to submit a $2000.00 deposit (non-refundable in U.S. dollars) in order for the I-20 to be issued. This deposit is placed into the student's account and is available to the student for educational expenses only (i.e., tuition, books, and fees).
