Living at Allen
Residence halls at Allen University were designed to enhance student intellectual and personal growth. The Office of Residence Life includes manages the following residence halls: Preston Warren Williams II Residence Hall, Wilma D. Webb Williams Residence Hall, Coppin Hall, and the Richard Allen Apartments.
On-Campus Housing

Richard Allen ApartmentsThis nine-unit apartment complex is located on Taylor Street. Constructed in 1954 and renovated in 1989, his apartment complex can accommodate 34 students. |

Wilma D. Webb Williams Residence HallThis four-story, state- of-the-art facility opened in 2009. This facility can accommodate 252 young ladies and is located at the corner of Hampton and Harden Streets. |

Preston Warren Williams II Residence HallThis four-story, state-of-the-art building opened in 2009. It can accommodate 220 young men and is located at the corner of Hampton and Pine Streets. |
| Levi J. Coppin Hall Erected in 1906, Coppin Hall is located at the corner of Harden and Hampton Streets. This four-story residence hall can accomodate 86 female students. |
Parking
On-campus parking is available by permit. Student permits cost $15/year and may be purchased in the business office.
A permit allows the bearer to park in any University parking, unless specified otherwise. The University reserves the right to tow, at the owner’s expense, vehicles without a permit and illegally parked vehicles.
The following locations are designated as student parking areas:
- Campus Mall
- Bishop Preston W. William II
- Wilma D. Webb Williams
- Reid Hall
- Richard Allen Apartments (except spaces assigned to Dr. Randolph’s Office)
Individuals parking in unauthorized areas or on neighborhood streets may be subject to fines and/or towing by the Columbia Police Department at the owner’s expense.
